Heaping : 가득한, 산더미처럼 쌓인
battered : 음식이 밀가루, 계란, 또는 빵가루 등의 반죽에 덮여서 튀긴 상태.
ex) he'd slide open the metal door and deliver heaping bowls of noodles and deep-fried battered pork with its rich sauce on the side. 그는 철제 문을 미끄러지듯 열고, 산더미처럼 쌓인 국수와 깊게 튀긴 빵가루 돼지고기에 진한 소스를 곁들여 배달했습니다.
concave : 오목한 <-> convex
ex) The plastic wrap on top sould be concave and sweating.
위에 있는 플라스틱 랩이 오목하게 들어가고 습기가 차있어야 합니다.
Chunky : 덩어리가 있는, 덩어리진 상태, 불규칙한 조각
Translucent : 반투명한 상태 /trænzˈluːsənt/
Dribble : 액체를 천천히, 부드럽게 붓는 것, 뿌리는 것.
ex) We'd peel it off and dribble back, chunky goodness all over the noodles and pour the shiny, sticky, translucent oranges sauce over the pork. 우리는 그것을 벗겨내고, 덩어리진 맛있는 소스를 국수 위에 뿌린 다음, 반짝이고 끈적이며 반투명한 오렌지 소스를 돼지고기 위에 부을 것입니다.

comprehend : 이해하다
ex) My aunts and mom and grandmother would jabber on in Korean, and I would eat and listen, unable to comprehend, bothering my mom every so often, asking her to translate. 이모들과 엄마, 할머니가 한국어로 지껄이는 동안, 나는 먹으면서 듣지만 이해하지 못하고, 가끔 엄마에게 번역해 달라고 귀찮게 했습니다.

pinch : 물건을 손가락으로 살짝 잡거나 잡는 행동.
ex) There are three generations of Korean women eating three different types of stew, daughter, mother, and grandmother dipping their spoons into one another's bowls, reaching over one another's trays, arms in one another's faces, pinching at their different banchan with chopsticks. 세 대의 한국 여성들이 서로 다른 세 가지 종류의 찌개를 먹고 있습니다. 딸, 어머니, 할머니가 서로의 그릇에 숟가락을 담그고, 서로의 트레이를 넘어서 팔을 뻗고, 서로의 얼굴 앞에서 팔을 사용하며, 젓가락으로 다양한 반찬을 집어 먹고 있습니다.
pay heed : 주의를 기울이다, 신경쓰다.
ex) None of them pay any heed or give a second thought to the concept of personal space.

stationed : 군인, 공무원 등 특정 장소에 배치되어 근무하는 것
ex) Maybe he was stationed in Seoul for military service or taught Englisha broad.
그가 군 복무로 서울에 배치되었거나 해외에서 영어를 가르쳤을 수도 있습니다.
blowing : 압도하다, 놀라게 하다. 사로잡다
ex) There is an Asian guy blowing his girlfriend's mind introducing her to a new world of flavors and textures.
한 아시아 남자가 여자친구에게 새로운 맛과 질감의 세계를 소개하며 그녀를 놀라게 하고 있습니다.
Vinegar : 신맛이 나는 조미료, 식초 /ˈvɪnɪɡər/
ex) He shows her how to eat mul naengmyeon, a cold noodle soup that tastes better if you add vinegar and hot mustard first. 그는 그녀에게 물냉면을 먹는 방법을 보여줍니다. 식초와 매운 겨자를 먼저 넣으면 더 맛있어진다고 설명합니다.

visor : /ˈvaɪzər/ 모자 챙, 투명 플라스틱 판. (썬캡모자를 의미하는 듯 함)
ex) Women in visors work without stopping.

galangal : /ɡəˈlæŋɡəl/ : 생강과에 속하는 뿌리 채소.
ex) Where did they come from and how far did they travel? Why are they all here? To find the galangal no American supermarket stocks to make the Indonesian curry that their father loves?
