Forest : 영원은 죽어가다 (스튜디오 퓨어파이브)_부산 미술 전시 (feat.호주 산불)

 

 

 

서면 전포쪽에 위치한 작은 미술 전시를 보고 왔다.

요즘 이래저래 크고 작은 전시들을 보러 다니는데, 개인적으로 굉장히 힐링되는 좋은 시간들을 보내고 있다.

 

이곳은 아무래도 개인이 오픈한 사설 전시관이다보니 따로 입장료를 받고있다고 하셨다.

입장료가 오천원대 가격이었던걸로 기억하고 원하면 음료도 함께 주문할 수 있다.

환경에 대한 주제의 전시이니만큼 음료 빨대 또한 플라스틱이 아니라 옥수수로 만든 빨대라고

알려주셔서 자세히 봤는데 영락없는 플라스틱 빨대처럼 생겨서 약간 의구심을 품고 물었다.

 

"그냥 일반 빨대 같은데요....ㅎㅎ?"

 

보기에 플라스틱 빨대와 거의 분간이 가지 않았지만 어쨌든 친환경 빨대라고 하니,

더욱 의미있는 마음으로 음료를 천천히 마시며 전시를 관람해보기로 했다.

Remember that the admission fee was around 5,000 won and you can order drinks if you want.
Since it's an exhibition of themes about the environment, beverage straws are also made of corn, not plastic.
I looked closely because you told me that it looked like a plastic straw, so I asked with some doubts.

"It just looks like a regular straw..."

It looks almost indistinguishable from a plastic straw, but it's an eco-friendly straw anyway.
With a more meaningful mind, I decided to drink slowly and watch the exhibition.

이 전시가 찾아보니,  2019.12.19. ~ 2020.02.01 이 기간동안 진행되는 전시였는데

타이밍이 기가 막히게도 요즘 호주에서 일어난 대형 산불 때문에 sns며 각종 뉴스기사에서도 종종 소식을 접하면서

안타까워하고 있던 참이었다.

사실 내가 그동안 대단한 환경운동가의 마인드로 살아왔던건 아니지만 야생동물들이 속수무책 죽어가는 영상을

유튜브로 접하면서 너무 안타까운 마음을 느끼고 있던 와중에 관람하게 된 전시라서 그런지 더욱 관심있게 보았다.

 

심지어 자연 발화로 인한 화재는 지구 온난화와 기후 변화에 큰 원인이 있기 때문에 그 자체로 환경에 대한 경각심을

가지지 않을 수가 없다.  실제로 내가 구독하고 있는 영어 관련 유튜버가 "도와줘" 라는 이름으로 구독자들에게 기부를

적극 권장하는 영상을 올렸는데 나도 그 기부에 동참하고 싶어서 결제 사이트에 접속했으나 왠일인지

"not allowed" 된 카드라는 메시지가 떠서 결제에 실패했다..

아마 해외 사이트 결제가 불가능한 카드라는 뜻인것 같다.

 

 

When I looked up this exhibition, it was held between December 19, 2019 and 2020.02.01.
The timing was amazing, because of the massive wildfires in Australia these days, SNS and news articles often read about it.
I was feeling sorry.
In fact, I haven't lived with a mind of a great environmental activist, but I've seen wildlife dying helplessly.
I was so sorry to see it on YouTube, but I was interested in it because it was an exhibition.


Even fires caused by natural ignition are a major cause of global warming and climate change, so it's an environmental awareness.
I can't help but have. In fact, the English-related YouTubers I'm subscribing to donate to subscribers under the name "Help."
I uploaded a highly recommended video, and I wanted to join the donation, so I logged on to the payment site, but somehow,
The payment failed because the message "Not allowed" was displayed.
I think it means that it is a card that cannot be paid on overseas sites.

무튼,   여러가지 환경에 관련한 문제들을 최근들어 많이 접하며 안타까워 하던 와중에 우연히 이 전시를 보게 된것이

어쩌면 너무나 굿 타이밍이었던것 같은 기분이랄까.

 

Anyway, I've been experiencing a lot of environmental issues lately, and I've been feeling sorry for the fact that I happened to see this exhibition.
Maybe it was such a good timing.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

첫번째로 작고 하얀 방에는 영상물이 전시되고 있었다.

새하얀 방에 몇몇 나뭇가지들로 꾸민 것들 제외하고 오로지 영상물 한개만 띄워놓은 방인데

시시각각 영상들이 바뀌면서 산림이 벌채되는 장면들을 포함해, 인간들의 모습을 여러장면으로 보여준다.

 

 

 

First, a small white room had a video on display.
It's a white room with only one video, except for a few branches.
Humans are shown in many scenes, including scenes of deforestation as videos change every minute.

 

 

 

 

 

그리고 흥미로웠던 메인 전시 작품은, "검은 숲" 이라는 제목의 작품인데 무려 폴리에스테르와 700개의 전구를

이용하여 인공 숲을 제작한 것이라고 한다.

 

And the main exhibit, which was interesting, was titled "Black Forest," and it was a polyester and 700 light bulbs.
It is said that they made artificial forest by using it.

 

 

중앙으로 들어가면 또 다른 두개의 영상물이 tv를 통해 흘러나오고 있고, 바람이 부는 효과와  숲을 연상하는 사운드들이

함께 어우러져 나오고 있었다.  벽 곳곳에 경각심을 일깨우는 많은 메시지들이 붙어있는데,

그것들을 하나하나 읽어가며 실제 숲을 거니는 느낌으로 감상하면 좋다.

It was coming together. There's a lot of alert messages all over the wall.
It is good to read them one by one and enjoy them as if you are walking through a real forest.

 

 

 

 

 

 

구비되어 있는 소파에 가만히 앉아, 눈을 감고 감상해보라는 문구가 적혀있었다.

마침 평일 오후 시간대여서 전시 관람하는 사람이 나 뿐이라, 혼자서 조용히 공간을 느끼기에 너무나

한적하고 좋은 시간이었다.

 

 

가끔 이렇게 비영리로 개개인이 주최하는 소소하지만 유니크한 미술 전시를 관람하고 싶을 때가 있는데

글쎄, 아무래도 작은 소규모의 미술 전시관을 가면 괜히 작가의 측근이나 지인들을 위한 환영의 장소가 아닐까,

그들만의 리그에서만 진행하는 전시가 아닐까 하는 부담으로 쉽게 관람하지 못하는 사람들도 있을거다.

(실제로 그런 경우가 없지않아 있기도 하고 특히 내 경험상으로, 해운대 달맞이 길에 있는 작은 갤러리들이 그런

경우가 더러 있다. 또는 알려지지 않은 작가들의 경우에는 정보를 얻기 힘들다보니)

 

근데 사실 작가 입장에서보면 그런 '일반 관람객'들이 찾아와주는거는 너무나 전시의 취지에 부합하는 기쁜 일 아닐까.

비영리의 private한 전시를 보러 가는데에 조금의 부담감을 덜어내면 더 많고 흥미로운 작품들을 볼 수 있기때문에

나는 적극 추천하는 바이다.

 

 

이 전시는 '부산전시'라고 초록창 포털사이트에 검색하면 쉽게 이 전시의 정보를 확인할 수 있다.

Just in the afternoon of weekdays, I'm the only one watching the exhibition, so I can feel the space quietly.
It was a quiet and good time.


Sometimes I want to see a small but unique art exhibition hosted by individuals for non-profit purposes.
Well, if you go to a small art exhibition hall, maybe it's a welcoming place for your close friends and acquaintances.
Some people may not be able to easily watch the exhibition because of the burden of being held only in their own league.
(In fact, that's not necessarily the case, especially in my experience, the small galleries on the Dalmaji road of Haeundae.
There are some cases. Or, in the case of unknown writers, it is difficult to get information.


In fact, from a writer's point of view, it would be a great pleasure for such "general visitors" to come to the exhibition.
If you take the burden off of going to a private exhibition of non-profit, you can see more and more interesting works.
I highly recommend.
